Juicing

I think it goes without saying that vegetables are key to good health. It’s not a big discovery, when you really think about it, common sense tells you so, and so I’m not here to tell you to eat your veggies. What I am suggesting is juicing them! Yup, its been a wonderful addition to my life for the past two years now. It’s a wonderful way, especially if you are undergoing a flare to give your bowels a break. Each day it also gives your body a wonderful cocktail of vitamins and minerals that give you a boost in your day and fill your red blood cells with wonderful chlorophyll and power packed nutrients. I mix my juice with my protein shake in the morning and when I am pressed for time, it goes in my Blender Bottle which I think are one of the best inventions of my lifetime. You can find out more about these BPA free bottles at their website. A good book I would recommend as well is Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices by Dr. N.W. Walker. Find it at Amazon.

Tips for Juicing:

1. Pack in the greens- kale, collars, spinach
2. Pack in the electrolytes – celery
3. Pack in the vitamin A, C ‘s, carotene- cucumber, red pepper
4. Add a bit of a good protein shake- hemp, pea, brown rice with some stevia for a touch of sweetness
5. Add some green algae, spirulina, barley grass
6. Enjoy it with a consciousness of the good you are doing for yourself, with appreciation

Know that every effort you make to infuse your cells with more chlorophyll is another way of providing lasting energy and the good stuff our body needs to be as good to us as it can be. Have you had your juice today?

Tweet There have always been wild cilams on both sides of the juicing and cleansing issue.a0 Some say it’s an immediate cure all for everythinga0 and some say it’s bogus and even detrimental.a0 So where in all this does the truth lie?a0 I found this article on CNN today in which the founders of BluePrint Cleanse set the record straight.a0 Okay folks, this may not be scientific information here, but it’s the common sense type of approach that is user-friendly and could help motivate us Average Joes to start that juice cleanse.

      Hi Rocio,
Thanks for your comment. I took a look at the BluePrint Cleanse website. Their concept attempts to bring the juicing and raw food to a level where people can get a comprehensive meal plan and juicing delivered to their door.
      Have you tried it?
I will look for the article with CNN as well, always interested to hear other people’s views.

I enjoy my daily fresh juices and look forward to them everyday. Do you enjoy fresh juices?

Welcome to the community. Look forward to more comments.

      In health,
      Safara
